A1298C MutationIn this mutation, adenine (A) is replaced by cytosine (C) at position 1298. Similar to the C677T mutation, having one copy may slightly affect enzyme activity, whereas having two copies can lead to more pronounced effects.

Vitamin B12: It can come in 3 most usable forms - methylcobalamin, adenosylcobalamin, or hydroxocobalamin. Methyl being the most commonly used. This active form of vitamin B12 is essential for proper methylation and homocysteine regulation.
Other Supplements: There are varied recommendations that create some confusion. Some other recommended supplements are Vitamins B2 and B6, magnesium, and NAC. However, some people might react negatively to some or all of these. The goal is to get as many of these as possible from a whole foods diet, and only when absolute necessary, used them in a supplemental form. So, a personalized approach is most recommended in this situation.
